Psychosocial
INTRODUCTION
HKinOZ provides a confidential, observation-based psychosocial evaluation of your business — from senior management through to individual workers. HKinOZ identifies the human and environmental stressors affecting your workplace before they become WorkSafe WA incidents, legal claims, or workforce losses.
WHAT IT INVOLVES
Psychosocial evaluation at HKinOZ goes beyond a survey. Working alongside your team through embedded observation, anonymous reporting, and confidential feedback mechanisms, the evaluation covers:
Ergonomics and physical work conditions
Work-life balance and roster impact
Job role clarity and employment stability
Management practices and leadership behaviour
Workplace culture — respect, communication, and team dynamics
Bullying, harassment, and toxic work conditions
Amenities, fatigue, and remote or FIFO-specific stressors
Evaluations are conducted at three levels: the business, the work group, and the individual.
HOW I WORK
Information is gathered through direct observation, anonymous feedback boxes, confidential one-on-one conversations, and non-confrontational reporting methods — so workers can raise concerns without fear of identification or retaliation.
All information and all individuals remain strictly confidential. Findings are reported to senior management only. The only exception is an immediate hazard or risk to a person or the workplace — in which case the obligation to act overrides confidentiality, consistent with WA WHS Act 2020 requirements.
WHAT YOU GET
A written report delivered to senior management, identifying psychosocial stressors across the business and recommending practical, staged changes — from simple improvements in workplace respect and amenities through to structural management or culture changes.
WHO IT'S FOR
Mining, construction, and FIFO businesses where workforce retention, psychological safety, and culture are affecting performance, compliance, or your ability to attract and keep good people.
